Bonnie L Floyd MD, FACC is a board certified cardiologist and fellow of the American College of Cardiology.She practices in Dallas, Texas.Her areas of expertise include diagnostic and interventional cardiology.She has been a trailblazer for women in the field of cardiology completing her training in cardiovascular intervention when only a handful of women in the world took on this advanced work.
A commitment to life-saving technologies led her to implant the first drug-coated stent in North Texas.Additionally, she was one of the founding cardiologists of the heart transplant program at Medical City Dallas Hospital, which has become one of the leading heart transplant centers in the United States.Further contributions have been to the American Heart Association as the medical advisor who led the ground work for the National Secondary Prevention Program.She has served locally as the Vice President for the Dallas Division of the AHA.Dr. Floyd has also served on committees and task forces for the Dallas County Medical Society.On a community level, a deep regard and caring for the future of children involved Dr Floyd as a board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dallas for many years.Thru her efforts, after school tutorials and computers were placed in the clubs prior to the internet boon.

Dr. Tulika Jain, MD, FACC is a cardiologist with CIVA-Cardiology and Interventional Vascular Associates and a cardiologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas as well as co medical director of the hospital's Heart and Vascular Wellness Program. Dr. Jain was born in Dallas, Texas.
She completed a double major in biology and economics at Austin College as an undergraduate, graduating magna cum laude. She was a Presidential Scholar at Austin College and received distinctions in chemistry and economics. After obtaining her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where she received honors in all of her medicine sub-internships, she continued her training at UT Southwestern for internship and residency in Internal Medicine (1998-2001) and her Cardiology Fellowship (2001-2006). She is board certified in internal medicine and in cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Jain completed an advanced imaging cardiology fellowship where she specialized in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. She spent two years researching methods for noninvasive coronary imaging as a tool for prevention of cardiac events, while receiving training in biostatistics and epidemiology. She has published literature on the relationship between atherosclerosis and obesity, as well as comparisons of the burden of coronary atherosclerosis by ethnicity and gender.
