For nearly a decade, Dr. Lise Labiche has been involved in the advancement of the treatment and prevention of strokes. As the Medical Director of the Stroke Program at Medical City, Dr. Labiche serves as the physician champion committed to developing a comprehensive, evidence-based stroke center with the primary emphasis on patient centered care and quality improvement.
Prior to joining Medical City, Dr. Labiche served as Medical Director and Acute Stroke Unit Director at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Labiche received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans and subsequently completed a neurology residency at the University of Texas-Houston in 2002. There she also completed a fellowship in cerebrovascular disease with the stroke program.
Dr. Labiche is a board certified neurologist who has practiced hospital-based neurology in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex for the last seven years. She has served the community by participating in numerous regional and statewide committees dedicated to developing improved stroke care systems. She has also been involved with multiple clinical stroke trials and published articles and book chapters on the role of neuroprotection and thrombolysis in acute stroke.
