Beverly Branch is the CEO and co-founder of Dromeo, Inc. (www.kickthepain.com) and Vice-President of the Careity Foundation. Careity Foundation is a Texas 501(c) 3 with two initiatives. Careity is dedicated to providing onsite support services in an oncology setting for economically challenged cancer patients and through early detection in North Texas. The pediatric palliative care program is directed at providing relief to children with devastating diseases and life threatening illnesses at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth.

Since its inception, Careity Foundation has set the platinum standard in the nonprofit community. Indeed, we have established ourselves as leaders. Careity Foundation was the first in the nation to offer oncology massage in the chemotherapy room to relieve the side effects of drug therapy in patients.

In 2009 Careity Foundation introduced an unprecedented expression of compassion for women in their community, initiating the first annual Careity Day, offering free mammograms to underinsured residents of Parker, Johnson and Tarrant Counties in Texas. Any Careity Day participant diagnosed with breast cancer received individualized treatment — including biopsy, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and hospitalization. The service was provided cost-free by Careity Day partners. The effort is believed to be the first private initiative of its kind in the United States. In 2009 more than 200 women took advantage of this opportunity.

Lyn Walsh arrived in Fort Worth, Texas twenty seven years ago from Miami, Florida. As a young girl, she learned Spanish from her mother, whose family was from Puerto Rico. As a clinical laboratory technologist, she found employment in the pharmaceutical industry. Her bilingual abilities created opportunities for her to travel to Central and South America to open laboratories and hire and train personnel. It was that very industry that brought her to Fort Worth as a regional director of several local laboratories.

As a child, Lyn was very familiar with the word cancer. Her mother was first diagnosed when Lyn was seven years old. It was because of that diagnosis that Lyn’s mother volunteered for the American Cancer Society. On many occasions she would take Lyn with her as she raised money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Lyn remembers that her mother continued this type of volunteerism and philanthropy for another forty five years as a cancer survivor.

Ms. Walsh has had extensive experience in fundraising and community service. She enjoys the Western lifestyle and her horses. She also enjoys an occasional golf game when time permits. After working with Beverly Branch on community events and serving on several boards of directors for years, they realized their professional compatibility and their strengths were perfect for a business venture. They formed Dromeo Inc. and a few years later The Careity Foundation after they both lost their mothers within six months of each other from cancer.

Together, Beverly Branch and Lyn Walsh, have raised millions of dollars for a wide range of charitable causes. They are prominent, successful and highly respected businesswomen.

Careity_logoMs. Branch and Ms. Walsh co-founded Careity Foundation in 2003, a Texas 501(c)3 with two initiatives. Careity is dedicated to providing on site support services in an oncology setting for economically challenged cancer patients and through early detection in North Texas. The pediatric palliative care program is directed at providing relief to children with devastating diseases and life threatening illnesses at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth.

Through their leadership and direction The Careity foundation was the first in the nation to provide oncology massage in the chemotherapy room to relieve the side effects of drug therapy. They have also launched the first private initiative of its kind in the nation that collaborates with other service providers in order to offer care free mammograms to women that receive a cancer diagnosis on Careity Day in three Texas counties. They are marking their sixteenth anniversary this year as founders and producers of the Celebrity Cutting benefiting Careity Foundation. This event has raised millions of dollars.

They have worked with national celebrities such as Tanya Tucker, Brad Paisley, Billy Ray Cyrus, Bob Kingsley, Clay Walker, Travis Tritt, Betty Buckley, Joe Montana, Jay Novacek and many more.

They are now in their fifth year of producing “Branded” an event dedicated to Pediatric Palliative Care at Cook Children’s.

They have each chaired and been board members for numerous charitable organizations and their list of honors and awards is extensive.
