Tricia Bridges - President and CEO, The Chiapas Project Three decades ago, Tricia Medrano Bridges began a career in nonprofit organizations in Dallas. She moved to New Orleans to direct activities for a national nonprofit in Louisiana and Mississippi. In 1991, she returned to Dallas, later working with the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas where she served as Vice President for Development. Subsequently, she served as Advancement Director for the University of Dallas before joining the Chiapas Project in 2005.
Ms. Bridges is the President & CEO of The Chiapas Project, a Metroplex organization that was inspired by Dr. Muhammad Yunus and the Grameen Foundation. The group funds microfinance loans in Mexico, Haiti, Dominican Republic and Bolivia.

The Chiapas Project – Advisor for Latin America - The Dallas Chapter of the Grameen Foundation, dedicated to help women in the state of Chiapas, in southern Mexico through micro-loans to create their own businesses and break the cycle of poverty. This organization is growing to other Latin American Countries including Haiti, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Bolivia and Paraguay.
