After months of research, culminating with a visit to the White House to meet with Tina Tchen, Director of the White House Council on Women and Girls, Palmer launched Platforms: The Life Lifting News Program for Women in January. Platforms is a one hour, weekly online television program that focuses on key issues that impact women and their families including:

The show features high profile guests and content experts from around the country.
Palmer is an entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in marketing, public relations, broadcast media and large- scale trade show and special event production.
She was recently nominated as a Dallas Business Journal 2010 “Woman to Watch†by Jackson Walker Law Firm. In November of 2007, she was honored as a “Great Woman of Texas – Woman of Influence†by the Fort Worth Business Press.
Shivaun has volunteered her time with Big Brothers Big Sisters, (CASA) Court Appointed Special Advocates and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. |
